The Green Iphone Apps
The Greenpeace app is a quick and easy to use guide on finding the greenest toilet paper, paper towels, paper napkins and tissues sold at different supermarkets. The best of these types of products contain only recycled material and no chlorine has been used in the whitening process. Since I don’t live in the US this App is not really relevant to me but I would love to hear from anyone who has tried it.
I also found some other green apps such as Get Green and Green tips. Green tips only allows you to e-mail the tips you receive and is not free.
Get Green also gives you tips on how to save the planet but these are more elaborate and even describe the actual impact of your actions. You can save the tips and e-mail them to friends. This app is not for free.

Green News Reader gathers all the green articles in one place. You can share them with friends through e-mail. This app is not for free and really not that good. I’d rather browse on my computer than my Iphone.
My favorite green app is Go green which also is for free. It gives you simple tips on how to turn you life green. It also enables you to save the green tips that you receive and e-mail them to friends.
The coolest green app must be the Ecocalender which is a calendar that focuses on what’s going on in nature at a certain time of the year. It is meant to shift your focus to the ecosystem. Unfortunately it isn’t available until this winter.
If you want to know more, Simple Thoughts has a Top 10 Green Iphone Apps list.
